Our mental, emotional, spiritual and physical wellbeing are all interconnected. When we experience mental symptoms such as low mood, anxiety, sadness and/or stress…our bodies can show related symptoms such as fatigue, restlessness, pain, lethargy, mind fog, inflammation and insomnia. 

 

Over time, stress and emotional turmoil can cause greater breakdown of our bodies, minds and spirits, leading to decreased fulfillment and joy in life.

Western society largely paints negative emotions as undesirable and weak. However, life was not meant to have only positive mind states. Difficult emotions are cues to understanding our minds and our soul and can act as a guide as to what's not working and what may need healing and change.

​With 6 years experience as a mental health nurse & women's coach, Shawna provides her clients with lifelong tools to work more effectively with thoughts, emotions and challenging situations. Awareness and effective coping strategies will help lower feelings of stress, overwhelm, low moods, and anxiety and new perspectives, practices and skills will bring about more inner peace, more confidence, more balance, more joy and greater fulfillment in life.
