Join me for a full day woman’s retreat on connecting to peace through the practices of meditation, gentle yoga, inner child work and breathwork. 

 

This day retreat is for any woman seeking self-care time and looking to explore practices that helps them connect to their true nature - peace, love and happiness.  The practices explored throughout the day will also assist with stress reduction, patterns of negative thinking and working with challenging emotions. 

 

Throughout the day we'll explore what keeps us from feeling peace and happiness within and then move into practices & teachings that help to connect us back to our true nature and help us more clearly understand the workings of the mind. 

This day retreat includes meditation exercises, breathwork, journaling & reflection, gentle movement + group teachings and group discussion.

Leave with a toolbox of skills and practices you can use for returning to inner peace at any time. 

Flow of the Day:​

  • Introductions & Welcome

  • Teaching Session - What Keeps Us from Feeling Peace Within: Exploring the Nature of the Mind + 3 patterns of the mind that creates stress and keeps us from feeling inner peace 

  • Teaching Session - Understanding The Path of Finding Greater Inner Peace: How to Work with the Mind

  • Break

  • Understanding 3 Styles of Meditation + Guided Meditation Session (20 minutes)

  • Gentle Yoga for Inner Peace

  • Break for lunch 

  • Teaching Session - Inner Child Work, Working with the Ego Mind & Re-parenting Ourselves - ***past retreat guests favourite workshop***

  • Afternoon Meditation & Breathwork Session (50 min) for Clarity & Inner Peace

  • Reflection, Sharing & Closing circle

Arrive to the venue at 9:15am. 

*Note - Please eat a substantial breakfast prior to attending. Light snacks will be served throughout the day, and an hour long lunch break will be allotted.  

WHO?

This retreat is led by meditation, breathwork & yoga teacher + soul coach and previous mental health nurse, Shawna Thibodeau. Shawna has been a meditation teacher and teacher of inner work for over 10 years. As a previous mental health nurse, and having transformed her own life through inner work and holistic practices, she is passionate about helping others improve their mental, emotional and spiritual health, as well as their life through a psychospiritual approach. She runs retreats and programs online and internationally including Canada, United States, Costa Rica, Portugal and Italy.

A take-home PDF booklet of the skills & practices covered is provided to help equip you with review & resources for continued use at home.

Cancellation/Refund policy: 50% of payment is a non-refundable deposit - no exceptions. If canceling >30 days prior to retreat, a 50% refund is available. No refunds available on cancellations 30 days or less prior to retreat. No transfer of dates or retreat credits available due to high volume of requests. If retreat is cancelled, a full refund is provided.
